Greg's composition teachers include: Samuel Adler, George Rochberg, Sydney Hodkinson, Joseph Schwantner, Christopher Rouse, and Marilyn Shrude. Recently, Greg was nominated for the 1998 Music Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, awarded first prize in the 1998 Britten on the Bay competition, and was recipient of a 1998 ASCAP Achievement Award. His music has been performed throughout the United States, Italy, and Spain. Greg is currently studying composition and piano at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
